Biography

Brandon Lee Torres joined the Horizon Middle School Band in 2012 at the age of 11. During his middle school years, he participated twice in the All-Region band. In the fall 2015, he joined the Horizon High School Band and he was elected saxophone section leader for three years. He has participated in All-Region auditions and advanced to the Area level once. In the fall of 2017, Mr. Torres was a featured soloist in the State Marching Contest. Mr. Torres is also an avid jazz musician, occupying the lead saxophone chair in the Top Jazz ensemble at Horizon High School. He is also involved in the track & field teams and advanced three times to District competition. Mr. Torres has maintained the valedictorian position for the Class of 2019.
